Self-Assessment: Identifying Interests
Below are 36 different traits. Select the ten that sound most like you. The three Holland Code categories that are represented by those traits you select will be shown to you. Please remember that this exercise is merely an illustration of how the Holland Code works and how it can be used to find relationship between individual interests and those found in different academic programs or careers. For actual assessments, discuss with an academic advisor, a career counselor, or psychologist at a nearby campus the possibility of using the computer program Discover, or taking either the Self-Directed Search, or the Strong Inventory. Record the top three values you have chosen in Putting it Together. |
